BCI

Brandeis Collegiate Institute is an immersive experience in Jewish learning, arts, culture, and community offered every summer to Jewish young adults from around the world, ages 20 to 29. Through experiential learning, BCIers explore who they are, what it means to be Jewish in the 21st century, and what kind of community they want to help build.

In 2019, BCI gave copies of The Jewish Planner to all BCI staff, as well as to alumni who recommended a participant to the program. Additionally, our co-founder Amanda ran a workshop on the Hebrew calendar, held one-on-one sessions with participants on the meaning of their birthday in the Hebrew calendar, and used Night Forest as an activity for group bonding and formation.

We love what BCI is doing and look forward to working together again soon!
